On This Thanksgiving, Praise the Lord!

I’m so thankful for Pastor Craig and our entire worship team, which we often lovingly call the Sonrise Blend. This past Sunday they sang an older song for us in light of the Thanksgiving week ahead. Since Sunday, I have had it on my heart. I went to bed singing it last night and the first thing I actually can remember from this morning is singing it in my head as I laid in my bed thinking about the day ahead.

Here are the lyrics; the music video follows. On many levels, I am so grateful for the truth in the first verse and in the second. I hope this sets your mind in the right direction as you enjoy this Thanksgiving Day.

We are so blessed. As a nation, as people in this generation, as family, and, most importantly, as those who follow Jesus. The Gospel fills this day and every day with gratitude. Why don’t we praise the Lord?!
