Parents, Some Help on Vaping
While doing some research on an upcoming blog related to a different health matter, I ran across this website out of Canada on vaping. It is an educational site. As with almost anything you share from a secular perspective, I cannot vouch for everything on the site; however, I do believe this will be helpful to parents, grandparents, youth workers, and educators. Any one of us may benefit from looking through the website and the resources it provides. (Link down below on this page)
Contrary to what many teens may believe or what is sold to them through advertising, vaping does not relieve anxiety or stress. Some teenagers incorrectly believe that vaping helps alleviate stress and anxiety; however, vaping acts similar to smoking. It may relieve a nicotine addiction momentarily or possibly provide the benefit of fulfilling your habit momentarily, but the stress and anxiety does not change. Stress and anxiety are an inner man and outer man response to thinking, desires, and behavior in the midst of pressure-filled circumstances.
If you will notice on the image below, across the top of the webpage, there are several good links to follow with a variety of information associated with each link. You can see the options in the desktop screen shot below. On a mobile device, you can move between the various pages by using the three lines on the upper right of the screen.
Here is a link along with a few extra screen shots.
