Attention Missouri Christians – Are You Registered to Vote?
If you are a Missouri Christian, are you registered to vote? All Christians need to seriously consider voting in this election because of Amendment 3. Recently, the Missouri Supreme Court chose to allow Amendment 3 on the ballot for the November 5 Missouri Ballot. Remember, Amendment 3 is a very deceptive Missouri constitutional amendment and relates to “Reproductive Rights.” Although it is being discussed as related to only abortion, it actually is far-reaching past simply abortion rights. Related to this ballot, let me encourage you to get very educated. As you do, you can see for yourself why this would be horrible for our children and women of the state, much less on our economy. Let me strongly encourage you to do some additional research beginning here and here. Please do your own research, as this amendment goes way beyond abortion rights. Key problems include: 1) women losing the right to sue for malpractice; 2) ultrasounds will no longer be mandated for anyone seeking an abortion; and 3) possibly abortions funded by your tax dollars (you can read the top ten problems according to the MO Right to Life here). Again, I encourage you to do your own research. My opinion: Because of the deceptive and destructive Missouri Amendment 3 on the November 5 ballot, every Christian should plan to vote. And, the first step is registering to vote.
