A friend recently pointed me to this new song by Josh Wilson, Dream Small. As soon as I heard it, I knew I wanted to share it with all of you. The lyrics are incredible. I think they reflect the Scriptures very well. In the world system, it is easy to be distracted by all kinds of good things. However, for the Christian, life is to be lived in the moment, the mundane, this circumstance, and this instance (Rom 12:1-2; Heb 12:1-2). God is to received the glory now in this small moment that God has given us (1 Cor 10:31). The two most important commands are to love God and love our neighbor as ourselves (Matt 22:36-40). Our goal is to be light and salt in a dark world (Matt 5:13-14). This song captures the simplicity of living for Christ alone with others for God’s glory. The simplicity of it is encouraging. In the interview below, Wilson describes being just one instrument in God’s grand orchestra. Praise God He uses each of us in these moments of life.
