We encourage you today to stop and pray for the following designated prayer requests as they were made public.
Further, for those in the area, you are invited to join us at 7:30 am on the Ozark square at the Gazebo for community prayer.
Later today at Sonrise, the church will be open for prayer from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Anyone desiring to pray at the church is invited.
At 7:00 pm tonight Sonrise will host a Zoom prayer meeting for those who prefer to practice social distancing.
Here are the following prayer requests as associated with the Day of Prayer:
- County/Cities – Leaders (wisdom for decisions that impact our community)
- Law Enforcement (that they are encouraged, strengthened, and granted wisdom in justly keeping our community safe.)
- Justice System (to dispense justice & mercy in a righteous way)
- Those specifically impacted by Racism in any form (receive hope peace and justice)
- Citizens (to make Godly decisions regarding all of these)
- Health care workers (strength, peace, and protection in giving care to those impacted by Pandemic)
- School Officials (decisions on next school year)
- Those that have become unemployed these last weeks or months.
Wherever you are today, please take a few moments to join us in prayer for these things. If you are local, feel free to join us.
Prayer both communicates to God our dependence upon Him and reminds ourselves of the same. As we observe our communities both in this area and across our great nation, we recognize our need for God’s help. We truly seek God’s direction, wisdom, protection, and mercy.
Thank you Christian County Commissioners for declaring today Christian County Day of Prayer.
