Mother’s Day Edition

The past 14 months have proven who the MVPs are in every home. I recall hearing a lady in our church describe life in the pandemic. She had to move her office home, sit in meetings on the phone, deal with customers from her desk online, and function totally out of her make-shift home office. On her 15 minute morning breaks, she would get up, run into the laundry room, change out clothes between the washer and dryer, and then get the next load going in the washing machine. On her afternoon breaks, she would make sure things were started for supper. Along the way, she answered random questions dropped into her life by a husband and children. This is probably one store of hundreds of thousands which demonstrate how the pandemic made apparent the MVPs of the home. Education, Quarantine. Isolation. Helping the sick. On and on. In Honor of All Mothers ~ Happy Mother’s Day!
