This month the majority of children across America return to school for the next school year. As they return, as parents, grandparents, and concerned adults, we hope God’s best for our children. Whether they participate in school through homeschool, private school, charter school, or public school, we long for spiritual, intellectual, and emotional growth and development. As they head back to school, you will want to help your children prepare for the school year.
Reality strikes quickly though. With the opportunities to grow also loom possibilities of difficulty, struggle, and conflict. As much as we desire for our children to grow, we also recognize a new year full of growth is not guaranteed. Instead, each new day of the coming school year is laden with choices to be made. Each of these choices will influence and, at times, even contribute to the positive or negative growth of your child.
Then add COVID-19! Oh my! The possibilities of difficulties, interruptions, and the need for patience are endless.
Therefore, as parents, grandparents, and concerned adults, we desire to put our children in the strongest possible position to grow and change for their good and God’s glory.
